Bangladesh Makes Historic Strides in eFootball Console Qualifiers for FIFAe World Cup 2025

Dhaka, Bangladesh — In a landmark moment for Bangladesh’s esports journey, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) organized the Bangladesh Qualifiers for the FIFAe World Cup 2025 Console category with an exciting LAN event held on 5th September 2025 at Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka.

After a day of intense competition, PRIME XI (MH PRANTO & RAFI) were crowned champions, while The Final Phantom (Abdur Rahman Sostar & Al Amin) secured the runner-up position. Both teams have now booked their tickets to the Asia East & Oceania Regional Online Qualifiers, marking Bangladesh’s first-ever entry into the FIFAe World Cup Console pathway.

What’s Next for Team Bangladesh

  • Regional Online Qualifiers (Console): From 17–28 September 2025, Bangladesh will battle against other Asia East & Oceania nations for one of the three available slots for the FIFAe World Cup 2025 Finals.
  • FIFAe World Cup Finals: The global showdown is set for 10–13 December 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where 12 national teams will compete in the 2v2 console “Dream Team” format.
